It’s hard to believe that one year ago, we were wandering through the beautiful countryside of Spain, documenting Madison and Harry’s wedding week in Gaucín. Surrounded by vibrant color, winding cobblestone streets, and breathtaking countryside views, their wedding weekend felt intimate, joyful, and completely effortless from beginning to end.

Madison and Harry’s families welcomed us in so warmly that by the end of the week, it felt like we were part of the family too. Once Isaiah and I got into the village, we wandered through the streets looking for dinner and unexpectedly stumbled upon Madison and Harry’s families gathered around a table together. Instead of simply saying hello in passing, we spent the evening sharing dinner, stories, and laughter together (and the best chocolate lava cake & ice cream you’ve ever had), and by the time the wedding day arrived, it already felt like documenting family.

One of the things I loved most about Madison and Harry’s wedding day was the ease of it all. Nothing felt rushed or overly produced. The entire day unfolded naturally, allowing space for conversation, connection, and the kind of organic moments that often become the most meaningful memories.
Surrounded by vibrant florals, breathtaking mountain views, spanish architecture, and the people they love most, every part of the week felt intentional, joyful, and beautifully personal. Documenting this wedding day in southern Spain was truly such an honor, and it’s a celebration I know I’ll never forget! Keep scrolling to see not only Madison and Harry’s beautiful wedding weekend, but also a few moments Isaiah and I captured while exploring Málaga after the celebration (and the best gelato I’ve ever had and still dream about).

After the wedding festivities came to a close, Isaiah and I drove back down the mountains into Málaga for a few days on the coast. We spent our evenings sitting outside for hours, listening to the sounds of the city echo through the streets. Live music in the distance, clinking glasses, and the hum of people passing by. We wandered through little shops tucked along winding streets, ate some of the best food we’ve ever had at tiny restaurants tucked away around the city, and somehow found the best gelato that we still dream about to this day.

Looking back on this week in Spain still feels a little surreal. From celebrating alongside some of the sweetest people to soaking in the beauty of Málaga afterward, every part of the trip felt meaningful in its own way. It was the perfect blend of joy, celebration, rest, and adventure, and a reminder of just how special it is to go new places and savor moments together. We’ll forever be grateful for the memories made, the places we explored, and we’re already dreaming of going back for more gelato one day!
